Construction Carpenter- 5 Years Carpentry Experience REQUIRED

*Guaranteed 40 Hours per week - Year-Round Work - No Seasonal Layoffs

Carpenter Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License/acceptable driving record
At least 5 years of proven residential carpentry and remodeling experience REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must pass a drug screen and an extensive criminal background check (No Felonies or Major Misdemeanors)
Reside within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH
A strong working knowledge of carpentry principles & construction processes from foundation to finish.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
Willing to be on call 1 week each month to respond to after hours & weekend emergency calls
Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.

Carpenter Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform carpentry duties effectively & efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of workmanship
Perform multiple carpentry tasks: drywall (hanging & finishing), interior trim, tile, cabinetry installation, siding, window & door installation, framing, flooring, painting, light plumbing & electrical, etc.
Follow the scope of work for the project, communicate any issues/changes to the project manager
Produce quality work that consistently meets the company's standards and expectations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules.
