Water Mitigation Technician

Swartz Restoration & Emergency Services a leader in property mitigation and restoration, is now hiring Water Mitigation Technicians. In this labor-intensive role, you'll play a crucial part in helping commercial and residential property owners recover water damage while ensuring customer satisfaction. Swartz provides on-the-job training, essential equipment, and the chance to earn IICRC certifications. Ideal for those with a construction background, this role is perfect for team players eager to learn and make a difference.

Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License, an acceptable driving record & reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Construction experience/working knowledge of construction & remodeling
• Required to be On-Call one week of each month to respond to after-hours & weekend emergency calls
• Must be able to pass a background check (No felonies or major misdemeanors)
• Strong work ethic, strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week, as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Job Duties:
• Visit new assignments, engage w/ customers & communicate project expectations
• Assist in initial water damage assessment/inspection, and securing the job
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes
• Set up and monitor the drying equipment, including air movers
• Assist with the removal and disposal of damaged materials
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
• Record and report loss documentation
• Assist management with scheduling and coordinating onsite activity
• Maintain the Water Dept. vehicles and equipment
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
