Neighborhood Relief Ministries is a non-profit, faith based church entity located in Lima, Ohio. Governed by a Board of Directors, we work in partnership with the Neighborhood Relief Thrift Store to help those in need in our community and further the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is founded on Matthew 25:35-36
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Only through God’s mighty power and provision, and generous material and financial contributions of individuals and agencies are we able to accomplish this ministry.
The main areas we focus on are:
* Conducting Food & clothing giveaways to local community members
* Providing personal hygiene blessing bags
*Purchasing new & used beds, appliances & furniture to give away
*Distributing FREE Bibles, Gospel tracts, and other disciplining materials
* Conducting weekly bible studies, monthly church services, and other evangelistic outreaches
* Providing material & monetary support to numerous other ministries and non-profit organizations * Supporting local and abroad missionary work, including needs in times of natural disasters.
