Point Health Ministries, LLC was founded in November 2019 by Tammy Point, BS, ACC, CDP, CMDCP, CADDACT.  Psalm 71:18 says “Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not: until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.”  This verse is foundation for Point Health Ministries, LLC.  Tammy founded her business as a leap of faith, seeing a need that Seniors would rather age in their own homes with assistance, allowing them to remain where they are the most comfortable.  Point Health Ministries was created to provide clients an opportunity to keep their loved ones at home in a safe environment by adapting the environment to their current functioning level, and assisting their activities of interest with modification to make the client successful.  Tammy also provides the Activity Director classes allowing students to become Nationally Certified.  She has been teaching classesfor Activities Professionals since 2004.  Tammy served 5 ½ years in the U. S. Navy and was honorably discharged.  She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology, and Nationally Certified as an Activities Consultant through NCCAP.  Tammy has over 28 years as a State Tested Nurses Aid and Activity Professional, having worked in Dementia units, Skilled Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, Assisted Living, and Independent Living Facilities.
