The West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) has established a Code of Ethics that all members agree to sign and embrace for their personal, business and professional lives. This Code of Ethics embraces Biblical principles of conduct and holds every member and the corporate organization accountable to those life principles. It is designed to bring glory to Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God while ensuring excellence, accountability, and trust in member relationships, business practices and community advancement.

1. I will conduct my personal life, and my business and professional affairs in a Biblical and Christ-like manner that is above reproach. I will conduct myself and my speech in such a way to bring glory and pleasure to the Lord Jesus Christ and encourage all others to do likewise.
2. I will pursue a level of excellence in all business/professional/personal matters so that Jesus Christ is always honorably reflected and every endeavor to which I am committed is seen to be a benefit to all.
3. I believe in the principle of honor and I will always honor parents and family, those in authority over my life, peers, and community by affirming their value and providing them the best of who I am and what I have.
4. As a loyal member of the WOCC, I will fulfill Jesus’ mandate of servanthood to my family, my church, my employer/business/profession, my community and the West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce.
5. I will not make public statements in any form to any media that reflects the official policy posture (private or public) of the West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce, but reserve that right to the WOCC leadership.
6. I will always speak the truth in love with my counsel to the betterment of others and not for personal benefit or advancement.
7. I will never betray a shared confidence entrusted to me by another.
8. When I am in conflict or disagreement with any member of WOCC or of a personal/business/professional relationship, I will follow the principles and protocol set forth in Scripture and the by-laws of the WOCC.
9. I will submit to spiritual, business, and government authority as is appropriate to my relationship with those leaders while refraining from unnecessary criticism of them.
10. I will refrain from sexual misconduct in all my relationships and maintain a sexual lifestyle that is behaviorally consistent with the Scriptures in all regards.
11. I will hold myself accountable to and honor with personal integrity all of my business/professional/personal obligations to my church, vendors, customers/clients, neighbors, and community.

I understand that failure to abide by this code of ethics may result in counsel, loss of WOCC benefits, removal from committee or leadership roles, and or dismissal from Chamber membership.

As a condition of Membership with the West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce (WOCC), Members are required to adhere to the Code of Ethics and Statement of Faith (agreements) of the WOCC. Failure to do so in the sole opinion of the WOCC board renders all Member Benefits void. The WOCC reserves the exclusive right to cancel any Membership if it has reason to believe a violation of either agreement has occurred or if a Member provided false information in any portion of the Application for Membership with the WOCC or against any Member of the WOCC. Any accusation brought against any WOCC Member must be done so in a written substantiated sworn statement by the accuser and given to the WOCC board. Violations of the agreements of the WOCC will be handled on a case-by-case basis according to the details involved. These options may include a conversation with two or more WOCC board members and the accused Member to resolve the situation according to Matthew 18:15. Should the board members feel the situation was resolved in this way, the accused Member must comply with the terms which were discussed and decided upon during the conversation, failure to do so may result in loss of membership with the WOCC.
Should the Member, whose Membership was cancelled due to violation of the agreements, desire to rejoin the WOCC, the Member must be interviewed by two or more WOCC board members to assess rehabilitation status. The WOCC board will decide whether to allow the Member to rejoin.
Another condition of Membership with the WOCC, Members are required to promptly pay all Membership fees, whether monthly or annually. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of Membership with the WOCC. One missed monthly payment will result in a conversation with the Member and two or more board members to resolve the issue. If payment cannot be made, the WOCC board will discuss options, depending on the Member’s situation. This may result in either cancellation of Membership or financial help from the WOCC SSGB Missions Fund, at the board’s discretion.
Should the Member, whose membership was cancelled due to missed payments, desire to rejoin the WOCC, the Member can no longer utilize the monthly payment option and must pay the entire annual membership fee.
Any cancellation of a Membership, either by the WOCC or the Member, shall relieve the WOCC of all obligations to provide Membership services to said Member. The WOCC shall make its best efforts to provide the Membership services described on this website and in marketing materials, however, the WOCC, its employee(s) and/or board members make no warrant, representation, or guarantee that services provided by the WOCC are guaranteed or shall produce the desired results.
Should the WOCC board or a Member, decide to cancel Membership with the WOCC, no membership fees already paid to the WOCC will be refunded. Monthly membership fee payments will be stopped immediately, and annual payments already made will not be refunded to the Member.
