New Board Member: Tammy Point – Allen County

A little about my business. I have a home health business that helps families keep their loved ones at home as long as possible by helping modify their environment. I started my business in 2019 when I saw a need in my church family. There were several couples struggling to take care of their husbands at home. You could tell they were getting worn down and just needed that little break to be able to keep taking care of them.

The Lord has used me to help several wives keep their husbands at home until God took them home. Most of them were diagnosed with a form of dementia and the Lord allowed me to keep their minds going until there was nothing left. Those men only laid in bed for several days instead of several years. So thankful for the abilities the Lord has given me.

I believe that as born-again believers, we have been commanded to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. It is so much easier to do this if you can go with someone. I believe the WOCC board can come along side Christian businesses and help them do this. It gives us the opportunity to proclaim Jesus not only with our mouths but with our works. How we carry ourselves in business should set us apart from the world. It also gives businesses someone to come alongside them and help them be faithful.
